Hybrid Sculptures

At this stage, my project aims to bring together in the same sculpture elements shaped and modelled by hand with living, biologically conceived and developed materials. Playing with these two formal and visual languages that confront and mix to create a dialogue. These sculptures go beyond mimicry, towards integration, the dissolution of boundaries and the synthesis of new hybrid typologies.

The challenge now would be to find ways for these natural skins to continue to develop and mutate directly on the clay structures, leaving even more freedom to the natural growth process.
